Who are you?
I’m a researcher, a lover of piano music and video games, a voracious reader, and a Boston resident. This blog started as a place for me to ramble about a lot of topics. It’s gradually morphed into a wine and cocktail blog, with occasional forays into pop culture and other topics on my mind.
What’s with the name of the blog? You know it’s “Petit Chablis,” right?
The name of my blog is taken from one of our favorite wines, Chablis (a white made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the Chablis region of France). “Petit Chablis” refers to the least expensive Chablis wines. The French-speakers among you will probably be annoyed that I’ve used the feminine adjective “Petite” with the masculine noun “Chablis.” I justify this with the following two facts: 1) I am female; 2) the username “petitchablis” was already taken.
Do you accept products or samples in exchange for review space?
While I would love to accept samples of wines or whiskeys for review, Massachusetts has exceptionally strict alcohol shipping laws, so it’s unlikely that I will be able to accept alcoholic products for review.
If you have a non-alcoholic product that you would love to see featured on this blog, please e-mail me at petitechablis [at] gmail [dot] com. If your product is a good fit with the themes of this blog I will be happy to discuss a review with you.
Will you post something on your blog for me?
If you’re interested in writing a guest post or want me to repost/tweet a link to something you wrote, please e-mail me at petitechablis [at] gmail [dot] com. If your idea is a good match with my blog, I’ll be excited to hear from you!
